This is the flow that closes deals. Budget about fifteen minutes for a real 100-question document.
1. Upload their document
Go to Questionnaires → Upload their document and drop in the file the buyer sent. Supported: .xlsx, .xls, .csv, .tsv, .pdf, .txt, up to 10 MB and 100 questions.
Veriflow scans every cell (or every line, for PDF and text) and picks out the ones that look like questions. You don't need to clean the file up first.
If detection struggles with an unusual layout, switch to Paste questions and paste them one per line.
2. Read what came back
Each answer carries:
- a confidence chip — high, medium, or low
- citation chips — the control and its status, the evidence run with pass counts and date, the approved policy, and whether the answer came from your answer bank
- a status —
from bank(a verified answer was reused),needs review(nothing matched), orowned by you(you edited it)
Answers are drafted from your actual control statuses. If a control is in progress, the answer says so. Veriflow will not claim you do something you haven't marked as done.
3. Take ownership
Click Edit on any answer to rewrite it. Saving marks it owned by you and exports at high confidence.
Do this before sending. You are the one signing your name to these answers, and the wording should sound like your company.
4. Handle the flagged ones
Questions that don't map to any control get flagged needs review. Every buyer has a few. Options:
- Answer it yourself with Edit
- Click Ask an expert for a human answer within 48 hours (Scale)
5. Save the good ones
Click Save to bank on answers you're happy with. Next time a buyer asks something similar, that verified answer is reused instead of regenerated. See The answer bank.
6. Export
Export .xlsx produces a workbook with question, answer, confidence, status, mapped controls, and sources. .csv is also available. Send it back.
